A few years ago, Maida Smiles broke away from the one-size-fits-all approach typically seen in dentistry today.
Founder and implant dentist (very remarkable) Dr Gutierres founded our central London practice near Mayfair with a few concepts: passion, prevention and progression.
However, this does not mean we overlook tried-and-tested dental treatments with outstanding outcomes.
What it does mean is that we offer newer, revolutionary systems and methodologies to cater to those patients who before might have been stuck for a healthier solution.
For example, as Dr Gutierres is an implantologist, who specialises in missing teeth and the art of dental implants, he can offer praised procedures like All-on-4 and implant-retained dentures to help patients replace missing teeth without any barriers.

Pedro Gutierres qualified at the prestigious Egas Moniz High Institute of Health Sciences in Lisbon in 2006, then completed a two-year advanced international education program at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry before finally earning a Master’s degree in Implant Dentistry at Warwick University in 2011. Two years later, Dr Gutierres interrupted his professional activity and moved to Brazil, where he trained with some of the leading names in Implantology. He graduated from CETO and completed the APCD’s International Advanced Program in Implant Dentistry.
