We use rubber dams to ensure a better outcome and a more comfortable treatment while in the chair. One piece of modern, advanced equipment we use to target problems is the iTero scanner, which restores broken teeth whilst ensuring minimal distortion. Our dentists use the eLab Protocol to record the tooth’s colour digitally, enabling any tooth restoration made by the laboratory to create the best possible match.

After Treatment, What Should I Avoid?

What’s most important for patients to understand the dos and don’ts that may speed up or slow down the healing process:

Avoid using your tongue or anything to prod or explore the new empty area
Stay away from any drinking or smoking for at least 24 hours after the treatment
Drinking through straws creates a blood clot, which may dislodge the blood clot
Take time to rest!

I had the lovely Dr Shankar for a 4 month Invisalign treatment. I mainly had overcrowding that needed sorting out after having had braces as a teenager and not wearing my retainer. Dr Shankar was delightful and has a lovely energy about him that made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process.
