Cosmetic gum care
Dr Patel, in 2021, also qualified in laser dentistry, which uses lasers to remove diseased and inflamed gum tissue from the pocket in cases of gum disease and as a treatment to improve receding gums. Dr Patel can also use laser dentistry to contour the gums in the cases of gummy smiles or to provide gum lifts to resculpt uneven or high gums.
