Don’t confuse porcelain veneers with dental crowns. Veneers do not require the removal of vital tooth structure, but rather, a minimum of 0.2mm of the tooth’s enamel.

Paying for veneers
One porcelain veneer:
- 1 veneer = £900
- £900 on dental finance over 12 months (0%) costs £75 per month.
- When not using finance, you would be expected to pay 50% upfront (£450) and the remaining 50% upon completion.
- By parting paying, patients can pay a 50% deposit upfront and use the 12 months interest-free pay the remaining £450 – charged at £37.50 per month.
A full set of porcelain veneers (six teeth):
- Each veneer charged at £900 x 6 = £5,400.
- £5,400 on dental finance over 12 months (0%) would cost £450 per month.
- By part paying, you can pay a £2,000 deposit (upfront) and use the 12 months interest-free to pay the remaining £3,400 – charged at £283.33 per month.
