More about Invisalign
Your Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable clear trays –called aligners– that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you gradually replace each aligner, your teeth will gradually move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed on the initial on the treatment plan stage.
On the initial consultation you will have a thorough examination and all the different treatment options will be discussed.
After that, photos and impressions of your teeth will be taken and sent to Invisalign Company for a virtual 3D treatment plan. With it you will see a video that will show the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment. This allows you to see beforehand what your teeth are expected to look like at the end of the treatment. Once you have had a chance to look at the changes your teeth will go through, your custom-made, clear aligners are manufactured especially for you and sent to the dental practice.
