If you’ve just lost a tooth off of your denture this is 100% repairable. However, in cases, where the denture is split into two, this might be more of a complex repair.

Dentures serve their purpose by creating suction against the gum to keep them stable. When this integrity is damaged, the suction may suffer as a result. Therefore, seeing our prosthetic dentist in these cases can either work towards a successful repair, or craft better-fitting, stronger dentures that are more reliable.

For dentures to serve their purpose, a perfect fit inside the mouth is necessary to allow them to remain stable by creating suction against the gum. I had the lovely Dr Shankar for a 4 month Invisalign treatment. I mainly had overcrowding that needed sorting out after having had braces as a teenager and not wearing my retainer. Dr Shankar was delightful and has a lovely energy about him that made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process.
