- Wafer-thin shells of ceramic material used to cover the front surfaces of teeth.
- These are bonded to teeth prepared by having a small amount of enamel removed so as not to appear too bulky.

Porcelain Ceramic Bonded-Crowns:
- Artificial covers, sometimes called ‘caps, ’ replace the entire visible surface of a tooth above the gum line.
- These ceramic crowns are cemented to a prepared tooth with intact roots.
- They are often needed after a root canal procedure or to repair fractured, broken or misshapen teeth.
E-max Crown:
- A type of all-ceramic crown made from disilicate lithium material is known for its excellent strength and appealing aesthetics as a restorative crown material.
Zirconia Crown:
- Another type of ceramic crown, Zirconia crowns, is extremely durable and matches the look of natural teeth well. Zirconia crowns are made from zirconium, a metal with similar properties to titanium.
- It makes a good choice for dental material because it is chemically unreactive.
Inlays Are Used Instead Of Fillings To Replace A Small Amount Of Tooth Structure Loss Due To Decay.
Like fillings, inlays fit inside the tooth.
- They are made of tooth-coloured material such as ceramic/porcelain or special dental composite. Defective or unsightly fillings can be replaced by tooth-coloured inlays and bonded to the tooth. This bonding process can improve the strength of the tooth and help seal the inlay to the tooth.
- Onlays also fit inside the tooth but extend onto the chewing surface of a back tooth to replace one or more cusps.
Replace Missing Teeth
This method is today’s gold standard when replacing an entire tooth (roots and crown). Implants consist of a titanium metal post implanted in the jaw during a minor surgical procedure.
This screw-like post becomes fused with the jaw bone, providing a solid anchorage for a lifelike crown. Implants can replace single or multiple teeth or support other types of dental restorations, such as dental bridges or dentures.
